Fear???

Fear...of heights-Acrophobia, Fear of people-Anthropophobia, Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth -Arachibutyrophobia, Fear of riding in a car- Amaxophobia, Fear of words-Verbophobia, Fear of sitting-Thaasophobia, Fear of thinking-Phronemophobia.
As is apparent fear can be irrational in the eyes of someone not facing it day in and day out. But very motivating to the person who is afraid. I am afraid of a lot of things but I recently read a really neat quote..."Fear STOPS us dead in our tracks. It is self confidence that propels us forward." I am not going to let fear of failure control me I am going to show my fear who the boss is. I am working on my self confidence but every day and with every run I seem to be finding bits and pieces of it. I was very afraid I would make no progress in my workouts and with my endurance but I am moving forward in my workouts.
Last night I had an abbreviated work out due to a jewelry party I had to go to. I will tell you i am making my exercise a priority in my life! I knew last night if I waited till after the party I would not go so I went straight from work. It was GREAT! Let me break down what I did...first 1/10 I walked to get warmed up then I kicked up the speed and jogged 1/2 mile then walked for 2/10 and jogged the last 2/10. I was so excited!!!! I took and cooled down for a bit then went and talked to Emily and then at last tried the AMAZING Foam Roller. Yess that is right I looked like a dork doing it but my calf is not near as soar. Hahaha. Well More to come later. Love y'all
